Shining at the Battery SHow Europe 2026, Highstar Sodium Signs Contracts On-Site, Gaining High Recognition from EU Clients

From June 9th to 11th, The Battery Show Europe 2026 was held in Stuttgart, Germany. Highstar Sodium showcased its “Green and Safe NFPP Sodium-ion Batteries” theme at the exhibition, presenting a comprehensive range of NFPP sodium battery solutions for various scenarios, including NFPP sodium ion battery cells, NFPP sodium ion battery packs, and NFPP sodium ion BESS

With the global energy transition accelerating, the lithium battery industry is moving towards the sodium-ion battery industry. With the development of emerging fields such as AIDC, green energy storage, and the low-altitude economy, the sodium-ion battery industry is ushering in a new growth cycle. Against this backdrop, Highstar Sodium has always adhered to technological innovation and quality manufacturing, focusing on NFPP sodium-ion batteries to provide global customers with safer, more efficient, and reliable energy solutions.

In the field of NFPP sodium ion batteries, Highstar Sodium demonstrated a more complete product portfolio. 180AH NFPP prismatic sodium ion battery cell and 400AH NFPP prismatic sodium ion battery cell, both cover the application of industrial and commercial energy storage, residential energy storage, and communication backup power applications. 15AH NFPP Cylindrical sodium battery cell targets automotive start-stop power supplies, 12V lead-acid battery replacement, and 24V lead-acid battery replacement.

During the exhibition, Highstar Sodium and Salzstrom, a leading European provider of sodium energy storage solutions, officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Salzstrom has deep roots in European energy storage, low-voltage power supply, and green energy applications. It is also a leader in launching commercially available NFPP sodium energy storage systems in Europe. Its industrial and commercial energy storage products using Highstar Sodium’s NFPP cells have already achieved mass commercialization in several European countries.

With this cooperation, Europe’s first sodium energy containerized cluster energy storage project will soon be delivered to Germany. Following this strategic partnership, Highstar Sodium will collaborate deeply with Salzstrom in areas such as product technology research and development, localized production, and system product optimization, jointly promoting the implementation of sodium electricity in the European energy storage market.
