Highstar Sodium’s Comprehensive Sodium ion Battery Solution: Empowering Global Energy Storage with NFPP SIB Core Technology

From May 13th to 15th, 2026, the 18th Shenzhen International Battery Technology Conference/Exhibition (CIBF2026) was held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. Highstar Sodium , under the theme of “NFPP Sodium Ion Battery,” showcased its comprehensive strength in technology research and development, product quality, and global delivery, leveraging its 30 years of technological accumulation to address professional power application scenarios such as AIDC computing power backup, energy storage, communication backup, and low-speed vehicles.

The NFPP cylindrical sodium ion cell 15AH and NFPP prismatic sodium ion cell 160AH were exhibited at the event, possess advantages such as high safety, long lifespan, and wide temperature range, and can be applied to outdoor integrated cabinet energy storage systems, communication backup power systems, containerized energy storage systems, and automotive start-stop power supplies.

With the ongoing construction of Highstar Sodium’s 6WGH production base in Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, China, Highstar Sodium will further improve its new battery technology roadmap and accelerate the industrial application of sodium-ion batteries.

The Shanghai Chemical Industry Research Institute, TÜV Rheinland, and Highstar Sodium have jointly developed a “One Carbon, Two Certificates” system, encompassing ESG assessment, organizational carbon footprint verification, and product carbon footprint certification. This will enable Highstar Sodium to meet the new carbon footprint regulations of the EU’s Battery Law. Through this collaboration, Highstar Sodium will take a significant step forward in green manufacturing, low-carbon management, and international compliance, further enhancing its carbon emission accounting and carbon data management capabilities. This will provide strong support for addressing the EU’s new Battery Law’s carbon footprint requirements, overcoming international trade green barriers, and promoting the implementation of dual-carbon goals.

From sodium-ion batteries to the construction of a low-carbon certification system, Highstar Sodium is using polyanion sodium-ion battery cells as its technological roadmap and developing sodium batteries for multiple application scenarios, continuously serving the global professional power market. In the future, Highstar Sodium will continue to adhere to technological innovation and quality-driven development, continuously improving product performance, manufacturing capabilities, and global delivery capabilities around customer needs. With safer, more efficient, reliable, and green sodium-ion battery products and solutions, Highstar Sodium will connect with global customers to create a sustainable energy future.
